COURSE DESCRIPTION
The National Certificate in Welding and Fabrication programme is designed to equip learners with practical skills and competencies necessary for employment in the welding and fabrication industry.
The programme has been modularised to allow learners to attain employable skills at their own pace. The programme consists of four modules which are independent but emphasise competencies.
Learners have the choice to pick which module to start with depending on available resources and time. Successful completion of each module earns a competence certificate, while completion of all four modules earns the learner a National Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
The programme also integrates other skills such as entrepreneurship, communication, computer skills and work ethics through a typical work process.
